If it isn’t easy to figure out I LOVE being a female, this post right here should finalize that thought. Yeah we have our tough days that I’m sure men will NEVER understand or be able to relate but that just makes us even more magical. Any who, when it comes to fashion, being a female is so much moreee intriguing. I mean we can kill it in the simpliest outfit when paired with the right killer heels & accessories but if you’re versatile like me, I like to throw on some kicks and an oversized men’s shirt, jacket, jeans, shorts, you name it! If it fits me then it works, men’s or women’s.
Versatility is a must when you’re a thrifter honestly, vintage items just don’t fit the same. For example, “mom jeans” aka 90’s style high waisted jeans run super-duper small, making it almost impossible to find the perfect pair if you have any type of hips or a booty. So shopping in the men’s area would definitely benefit anyone with any type of curves looking for vintage denim. If you’re going for the off the shoulder button up shirt/ jacket trend, you’re more than likely going to find the perfect fit in the men’s area as well. Let’s just face it, men can be good for something right ? ( haha just kidding)
On this particular day, besides my kicks, my entire fit was thrifted ! ( I love when that happens) I wore a button up cropped wrap top I purchased from the Goodwill thrift store, a pair of men’s linen pleated shorts purchased from the East Village Thrift Store, my favorite wicker basket bag also purchased from the Goodwill , & a pair of white Stan Smith Adidas I caught on super sale from Macy’s. I honestly love comfort, comfort will ALWAYS be key when it comes to me.
