I remember just a few years ago how big of a deal jeans were to me. I literally only wore super skinny black jeans, if they weren’t skinny I wasn’t wearing them. As time passed, I began wearing boyfriend/girlfriend jeans and eventually high waist mom jeans. Now, I practically walk past every pair of jeans in site when shopping. Don’t get me wrong, jeans are the easiest thing to throw on when all else fails but I’m okay with a little challenge when it comes to my outfits. Skirts, dresses, jumpers/rompers have been my go to’s lately. I feel less restricted and more myself.
Every now & then there’s a pair of jeans that catch my eye & make it impossible for me to turn away. Bell bottoms, culottes, any distressed and embroidered jeans always grab my attention & make me reconsider minimizing my jean collection. That clearly will explain my infatuation for these AH-mazing high waist-wideleg- distressed hem Free People jeans ! I was in awe from the moment I laid eyes on them. In 10 seconds I imagined all the different outfits I could put together based on this one pair of jeans. On this day I paired these babies with a orange button up blouse I stumbled upon at the Salvation Army, my new straw bag purchased at the Goodwill (I love the wooden handles), tan tasseled mules from Espirt, and a pair of STUNNING gold earrings purchased from Aldo’s! (Aldo’s? I asked myself the same thing)

I’m all about statement items that are also practical. I love being able to dress my outfits up or down and not be confined to one particular style. Be on the look out for me wearing these jeans with flats, sneakers, booties, you name it I’m wearing it.
